Earlier this month, we joined Keela at their Vancouver headquarters, to collaborate on their “Chatting With Non-profit Accounting Experts” webinar. During the webinar, Enkel’s accounting manager, Chris Adams-Brush discussed the intricacies of non-profit bookkeeping with Keela’s head of Marketing and Communication, Philip Manzano. From tips and tools to bookkeeping fundamentals, the conversation covered a variety of topics, including the following key questions:
- What are the main differences between corporate and non-profit accounting?
- What are the bookkeeping basics that non-profits should implement?
- How can non-profits minimize the time spent on their day-to-day bookkeeping?
- How do you decide on an in-house vs. outsourced solution?
The webinar came just in time as Keela launches their integration with QuickBooks Online, helping non-profits to increase the accuracy and integrity of their QuickBooks data, eliminate duplicate entries, and reduce time spent exporting and importing data. Keela officially launched their integration at our co-hosted event in early April, where we showcased the Keela application while providing a QuickBooks Online training session for local non-profit organizations.
We are proud supporters of the Keela team and are excited to co-host more events, webinars, and podcasts aimed to support organizations throughout Canada.
