This March, we added 5 new team members to our Vancouver office, including 2 Sales Executives, a Senior Accountant, a Director of Marketing and a Chief Technology Officer.

Webinar Recap: How to Simplify Your Non-Profit’s Year-End Process with Charity Village
Earlier this month, we partnered with Charity Village on a webinar teaching non-profit organizations how they can simplify their year-end process. The non-profit year-end process tends to be more complex than for-profit organizations due to the stringent requirements that they’re subject to from the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA). Apart from this complexity, non-profit organizations are faced with other challenges, which often results in longer audits and greater frustrations.

Last year, our friends at TSheets by QuickBooks conducted a survey of workers, managers and business owners in the construction industry in Canada. The survey sought to understand how construction businesses were holding up in the face of tariffs and trade negotiations and how the lack of technology has affected their day-to-day operations. Upcoming: Capacity Conference 2019
The Capacity Conference hosted by our friends at Keela is back for the second time in a row! Last year, the conference brought together over 180 non-profit organizations in British Columbia for a day of learning and networking. From donor engagement to impact and sustainability, the organizations were able to learn from the speakers and share their experiences.
This year’s Capacity Conference will focus on actionable workshops that will help attendees to adapt and thrive in the evolving non-profit world. Enkel has always been a big supporter of the non-profit industry, and we hope to empower local non-profit organizations with better financial knowledge, allowing them to create greater impact for their community.
