‘How Enkel Backoffice Solutions is Building a Modern, Scalable Practice’ by Receipt Bank
We always enjoy working with our app partners on co-branded initiatives. Earlier this year, we spoke with our friends at Receipt Bank about how third-party applications like theirs have allowed us to build a scalable practice. The accounting industry is undergoing a technological shift towards automation and apps like Receipt Bank allows users to automate their invoice management process.
With Receipt Bank, users can easily take a picture of their invoices and the Optical Character Recognition technology reads and codes the invoice accurately on the app. The invoice is digitized and stored on the app. This eliminates the need for a physical document storage system as well as the manual data entry usually required. Bookkeepers can, therefore, provide clients with proactive business advice instead of mere manual data entry.
Technology has and will always be one of our fundamental pillars at Enkel as we continue to scale our practice. ‘Bring Your Company’s Bookkeeping into 2019’ Webinar
On January 30th, we held our first ever webinar at RTOWN, a Vancouver-based digital marketing agency. RTOWN helps local businesses succeed through digital marketing solutions such as search engine optimization, website optimization and social media.
The webinar was co-hosted by RTOWN’s CEO & co-founder, Luke Aulin, and our CEO & co-founder, Omar Visram. Both Luke and Omar shared with the audience members about how their industries (marketing & accounting) have been disrupted by cloud technology.
With the rise of cloud-based accounting software like QuickBooks Online and Xero, business owners are able to streamline their bookkeeping process while reaping benefits like reduced costs and greater efficiency. Moreover, with third-party applications like Expensify, Receipt Bank, Plooto and Zapier, business owners can automate and improve the efficiency of their back office.
