Month in Review: April 2019

April was a celebratory month as we closed in on yet another great quarter. We celebrated the win with a team outing to a rock climbing gym and we also added more new bodies to our growing team. Here’s what we’ve been up to this April:

Enkel Team Social

In conjunction with our theme for the quarter (a.k.a the Enkel Climb), we went to a rock climbing gym in Richmond to celebrate. It was a great evening of team bonding as we collectively discovered our fear of heights while also conquering a series of obstacles like the Leap of Faith and the Vertical Drop Slide. As we continue to grow our team, we look forward to building a great company culture filled with team spirit and support for one another.

We’re Growing Our Team!

Speaking of our team, we welcomed an Operations Coordinator and an Accountant to our team this April!

We’re currently still on the lookout for more growth-driven accountants and bookkeepers with a passion for accounting and technology. If you know somebody that would be a good fit, feel free to send them our way!

You can find a list of our current openings on our Careers Page.

In the simplest form of fund accounting, organizations will have two funds: an unrestricted fund and a restricted fund. Some organizations may drill down further to create separate funds based on the type of restrictions (temporary vs. permanent), and whether the restrictions have been imposed externally by donors or internally for the organization’s board.
