Over and over, Canadian businesses and not-for-profits told us they needed a stronger grasp on their company’s financials to make informed strategic decisions. They deserved a better accounting solution and we set out to create it with Enkel.
Our Story
While at KPMG, my client Pankaj was struggling to find a reliable bookkeeping solution for his growing software company. As we talked, it became clear that we needed to build it ourselves.
From the beginning, Enkel was designed to be client-centric, fully cloud-based, and committed to quality. These were three essentials we felt were missing in the market.
We weren’t interested in creating just another traditional bookkeeping firm. We reimagined financial operations by applying a tech-driven approach to deliver speed, efficiency, and scale. With our delivery centre in Noida, India and our headquarters in Vancouver, we built a global model that supports clients around the clock.
In 2024, Pankaj and I knew it was time to take Enkel to the next level and invest in our growth. We also knew we couldn’t do it alone. We needed a leader who had scaled businesses before, someone who shared our ambition and values.
When we met Ali Sanei, it was clear we had found that rare alignment. Ali saw the potential of what we had built and shared our vision for where it could go. Bringing him on as CEO opened a new chapter for Enkel, and allowed me to focus exclusively on growth.
Like all entrepreneurs, we’ve learned countless lessons along the way. We wouldn’t be here without our exceptional team or the clients who place their trust in us every day.
